CNG stations to reopen across Sindh

KARACHI: The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Sindh will reopen today at 10:00 pm as Sui Southern SSGC announced to resume supply to the gas stations.

According to details, the CNG stations will reopen from 10:00 pm today till 06:00 am on Wednesday. On Sunday, gas supply to CNG stations across Sindh was suspended after a brief opening on Saturday for eight hours.

Sindh province has faced a severe shortage of gas, with hard-hitting CNG stations and domestic consumers. The gaps between the supply of CNG at stations have increased, resulting in a loss for people using CNG in their vehicles.
Domestic consumers are also upset by the limited supply of gas since low gas pressure in their homes means that cooking or using geysers to heat water is all most impossible in this situation.
The announcement to resume supply to the CNG stations will be an opportunity and relief for transporters and citizens. The ongoing gas crisis is critical both for commercial and residential purposes.
