Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced that a National Day of Gratitude will be observed across the country today, Sunday, in response to giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression and the success of Operation Bunyan al Marsoos.
In his statement, the Prime Minister stated, “We are grateful to Allah for this success, who granted us honor. This day is to pay tribute to the bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the Day of Gratitude will be observed to offer prostration of thanks to Almighty Allah, to pay tribute to the unparalleled bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and to appreciate the courage and unity of the entire nation.
He said that Operation Bunyan al Marsoos effectively and forcefully responded to enemy aggression and proved Pakistan’s superiority on every front. Despite the enemy’s aggression, Pakistan ensured its defense with patience, restraint, and full preparedness.
The Prime Minister appealed to the nation, especially religious scholars, to organize collective prayers and optional prayers (nawafil) across the country today, thank Allah Almighty, and offer special prayers for the martyrs and veterans.
The Prime Minister stated that the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces can never be forgotten, and that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them.
