India’s water aggression continues as the Modi government has stopped the inflow of water into the Chenab River, as reported by national media.
According to the details, due to India’s move, the water flow in the Chenab River is continuously decreasing. At the Head Marala point, the water level has dropped to 4,300 cusecs, whereas two days ago it was 87,000 cusecs.
The report states that normally, 25,000 to 30,000 cusecs of water flow at this point. Videos of India stopping water from the dams on the Chenab River have also gone viral.

Indian media has claimed that India is also planning to stop water at the Kishanganga Dam in Occupied Kashmir, which raises concerns about a decrease in water inflow in the Jhelum River as well.
Following India’s unilateral announcement to terminate the Indus Waters Treaty, the chances of water flowing into the Ravi River have further decreased.
India built three dams on the Ravi River in 2001, after which the flow of water towards Pakistan reduced by approximately 75%. Since then, the Ravi only shows some flow during the monsoon season, while for the rest of the year, especially from December to March, its flow almost ceases.
After the Helgam incident, India engaged in blame games and provocations, suspending the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan and instructing diplomatic staff to leave India. The Modi government has taken several aggressive decisions against Pakistan.
