Indian media claimed that Pakistani hackers targeted publicly available military, welfare, and educational websites.
According to Indian media, there were four confirmed attacks based on intelligence information. The websites of Army Public School (APS) Srinagar and APS Ranikhet were targeted.
Pakistani-sponsored hacker groups are trying to break several Indian military websites and databases, and Indian cyber agencies are working to neutralize this threat.
According to reports, there were new attempts by at least two cyber-attack groups this week, in which some military-related websites, including school websites, were defaced.
Websites associated with the Indian armed forces have been subjected to cyberattacks, which have resulted in hacking and page changes.
In a fresh wave of cyber-provocations, Pakistani hacker groups have targeted Indian websites, targeting digital platforms linked to children, veterans, and welfare services, news agency ANI reported.
The hacking was aimed at gaining access to India’s critical national network. According to Indian media, the group was operating under the name IOK Hacker to deface web pages, disrupt online services, and obtain personal information.
