Rawalpindi: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced new gas supply timings and a load shedding schedule after Ramadan 2025 to ensure a steady gas supply for consumers.
The updated schedule aims to assist residents in planning their daily activities and meal preparations effectively.
Residents of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and surrounding areas are currently experiencing gas load shedding. SNGPL officials revealed that after Ramadan, gas will be available only during specific meal times.
The revised gas supply schedule will allow consumers to access gas during three specific time slots: from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
This new plan is being introduced to ensure the supply of gas under full pressure. It will come into effect after Eid ul-Fitr.
The specific times are: from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM for breakfast preparation and warming; from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch; and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for dinner.
Representatives from SNGPL mentioned that the company has changed the gas timings in accordance with government instructions. They assured consumers that gas will be supplied at full pressure during these designated times.
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited provides services to over 7.22 million consumers in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and various other regions of Pakistan.
