PESHAWAR: At least five people were killed and four others sustained injuries during a land dispute clash in Darikhel area of South Waziristan in the wee hours of Friday.
According to sources, two groups of people exchanged indiscriminate firing over a land dispute in Darikhel area of tehsil Azam Warsak on early Friday. As a result, five people killed, while four others injured.
Receiving information about the incident A heavy contingent of FC force and police reached the area to control the situation. The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The condition of two injured was stated to be serious.
Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation of the incident. Police said two people involved in the incident have been arrested, while raids are being conducted for the arrest of reaming people. Meanwhile, the area people blocked the road and demanded of the other culprits’ arrest.
