Gold prices experienced a decline yesterday after reaching a record high in Pakistan on Monday.
The price of gold in the local market fell by Rs800, bringing it to Rs308,700 per tola.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs264,660, marking a decrease of Rs686, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

However, on Tuesday, the gold price per tola increased by Rs1,500, settling at Rs309,500 in Pakistan. The international rate of gold also saw a decrease on Tuesday, with the price at $2,940 per ounce (including a $20 premium), an $8 drop during the day, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver fell by Rs45, settling at Rs3,350 per tola.
