Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Chhaava has solidified its status as Bollywood’s first blockbuster of 2025. The film has also become Kaushal’s highest-grossing movie, surpassing Uri: The Surgical Strike and Raazi.
In its second week, Chhaava continues its strong box office run. On its second Saturday, the film saw an impressive 87.23% jump in earnings. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava collected Rs44 crore on Saturday, bringing its total net collection in India to Rs286.75 crore.
The film recorded an overall occupancy of 56.09% across 6,530 shows nationwide. Pune led with the highest occupancy at 85.75% (774 shows), followed by Chennai at 81.50% (55 shows). Mumbai and Delhi-NCR recorded occupancies of 74% (1,458 shows) and 46% (1,241 shows), respectively.
Globally, Chhaava has amassed Rs338.75 crore within just eight days. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, the film was released on February 14. It features Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna in key roles.
