Tom Hanks and Robin Wright reunite on screen in “Here”, marking the 30th anniversary of “Forrest Gump”, a film that not only swept the Oscars but also earned its place as one of the greatest films of all time.
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, “Here” will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, January 30, arriving about a month and a half earlier than initially expected.
“Here” will also be available for digital streaming through premium video on demand on several platforms, including Prime Video, AppleTV, and Fandango at Home.

Plot
“Here” is adapted from Richard McGuire’s graphic novel, which originated as a comic strip. The film tells a non-linear story of the inhabitants of an American home, spanning multiple time periods, all viewed from a single, fixed perspective: a corner of the living room. Paul Bettany, Tom Hanks, and Robin Wright portray the same family members who have lived in the house since the 1940s, playing their characters from their 20s to old age.
The film uses digital aging and de-aging techniques to showcase the passage of time in their lives.
