Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline on Friday for the second session in a row. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2000, settling at Rs271,300.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs232,596, reflecting a decrease of Rs1715, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold prices had dropped by Rs2600 per tola in Pakistan.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Friday. According to the APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,601 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $20 decline during the day.
Silver prices followed suit, with a decrease of Rs50, bringing the rate to Rs3,350 per tola.
