Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, has criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claiming that the party’s social media cell inflicted severe harm by spreading falsehoods about the Islamabad incident.
According to a report by Pak Observer on Monday, Rana Sanaullah accused PTI of deceiving the public with fake news on social media, adding that their fabrications were eventually exposed, leaving their strategies in disarray.
Highlighting PTI’s actions, Rana said that despite governing one province, the party launched three attacks on Islamabad. During their third attempt at D-Chowk, although people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa supported them, PTI leaders abandoned their own supporters and fled.
Rana Sanaullah stated that after 2018, the focus on service-based politics was replaced by abusive rhetoric, fueling fears of economic collapse. He argued that if the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had remained in power, Pakistan could have progressed enough to join the G20 nations.
He called for an end to politics rooted in hate, chaos, and anarchy, asserting that such approaches undermine the unity and progress Pakistan stands for.
