The United Arab Emirates Under-19 team has begun batting against Pakistan after the Green Shirts set a target of 315 runs to win in a 50-over match of the ACC U19 Asia Cup.
The match is being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where UAE U19 won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan’s opening batters, Usman Khan and Shahzaib Khan, gave a solid start to their team.
Usman Khan scored 41 runs off 60 balls before being dismissed lbw by Uddish Sori in the 20th over. The second opener, Shahzaib Khan, played a magnificent knock, scoring 132 runs off 136 balls. He was dismissed when Pakistan’s total score was 277, caught by Aryan Saxena off Noor Ayubi’s delivery. Shahzaib’s innings included six sixes and 11 fours, thrilling cricket fans.
Pakistan lost their third wicket on 314 when Muhammad Rizullah was caught by Ethan Carl.
