Reham Khan, the former wife of PTI founder Imran Khan and a journalist, has claimed that a deal is in place for Imran Khan’s release from jail, stating that the time for him to become a hero has passed.
According to an Instagram post by FHM Pakistan and three others, Reham Khan’s upcoming podcast with Adnan Faisal is set to air soon, with highlights from the conversation circulating on social media.
During the podcast, anchor Adnan Faisal asks about the trending topic of ‘Qadam’ (steps) on social media. In response, Reham Khan explains that Imran Khan’s steps led him to Madina, adding, ‘Please don’t label us as jihadis’.
In another exchange, Reham Khan comments on Pashtun traditions, saying, “When someone visits us, we declare them our guests.” Adnan Faisal questions, “So, if PTI is in Islamabad, will they be treated as guests?” Reham Khan responds, “Mohsin Naqvi (The Federal Minister) is not inclined to treat them as guests.”
Faisal then asks, “Is it a common belief within PTI that if Trump rules America, Imran Khan will be released?” To this, Reham Khan replies, “PTI is living on hope. The deal is done: Imran Khan will be released and remain silent. After that, it’s all manageable. Everyone wants to be out of jail, and the craze to become a hero is over now.”
