ISLAMABAD: The Federal Directorate of Education has announced revised timings for schools in the federal capital for the winter season.
Under the new schedule, morning shift schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, while on Fridays, they will close earlier at 12:30 PM. Schools in the afternoon shift will run from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
These adjustments aim to account for the shorter daylight hours during winter, ensuring a convenient and efficient schedule for students and staff.
Earlier on November 18, the Punjab government introduced updated guidelines for reopening schools, emphasizing strict safety measures due to concerns over air quality and smog.
Schools outside Lahore and Multan resumed operations today (Tuesday), following these directives.
