An online taxi driver has been accused of harassing a female passenger in Islamabad.
According to a screenshot shared by social media user Abdul Majeed in the Facebook group “Voice of Customer,” the driver, identified as Zeshan, allegedly sent inappropriate messages to the passenger after she booked a ride on October 9.
The conversation initially appeared professional, with Zeshan asking who would be riding. However, when the woman replied that she would be traveling alone, his messages reportedly became lewd, inviting her to meet him in a private setting.
This incident follows a similar case in August, where a ride-hailing driver allegedly assaulted a female passenger in the Karaci Pura area of Lahore.
Earlier, in January, Lahore police arrested a taxi driver with the help of Safe City cameras after he was accused of harassing a university student during her commute. The student claimed the harassment began mid-ride, prompting her to call for assistance when they reached Raiwind.
