As it continues to perform well in theaters, fans are eagerly anticipating its upcoming release on digital platforms. According to reports, Amazon Prime Video acquired the streaming rights for Stree 2 even before its theatrical release.
The latest buzz suggests that the movie, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is set to be available on the platform from September 27. But, there’s a twist.
The new update states that the horror-comedy will be available for rent from the above-mentioned date. However, an official announcement regarding the streaming date is yet to be made, leaving viewers eagerly awaiting confirmation.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Stree 2 reunites the star-studded cast from the first film. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor return in their leading roles, with Pankaj Tripathi once again stepping into the character of Rudra.
The fan-favorite duo, Abhishek Banerjee as Jana and Aparshakti Khurana as Bittu, are also back, alongside Sunita Rajwar. This sequel brings together the original ensemble that contributed to the film’s initial success. A notable addition to the cast is Tamannaah Bhatia, who makes a special appearance as Shama, a character featured in the hit song Aaj Ki Raat.
