The price of gold in Pakistan reached a historic high on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs265,900 per tola, marking an increase of Rs2,900.
According to the latest data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,486, reaching Rs227,966.
Despite a decline in the previous session, gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday due to a rise in international market rates.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased, with the price per tola increasing by Rs50 to reach Rs2,950.
In August, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan reached a peak of Rs263,700, while September 11, it hit a new high of Rs264,000.
