Applications are now open for the Chevening Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year, offering an esteemed opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue a Master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
These scholarships are well-known for their comprehensive financial support, which covers any eligible Master’s program at over 100 UK universities. Beginning on August 6, the Chevening Scholarships provide full financial coverage, including tuition fees, travel expenses, a monthly living allowance, and additional grants for thesis and dissertation work. This year, a total of 1,500 awards are available globally, presenting a significant opportunity for aspiring students.
Eligibility, application process
To qualify, applicants must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country, possess an undergraduate degree, and have at least two years of work experience. They must also meet English language requirements. Candidates need to submit academic transcripts, a short biography essay, a certificate of achievement, and two recommendation letters.
The application process is highly competitive, with only 2% to 3% of applicants being selected. The selection criteria focus on the candidate’s commitment to creating positive change in their home country and how a UK Master’s degree will facilitate this goal. Interested individuals can submit their applications via the Chevening website at chevening.org/apply.
