Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, announced that overseas Pakistanis will soon have access to an online facility for property transfers. This service will initially be available to Pakistani expatriates in the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Italy, and Spain.
During a briefing session at the OPF Headquarters, as per a press release, he mentioned that property transfer complaints will be resolved within 20 days. Additionally, issues related to the power of attorney will also be addressed.
The minister emphasized efforts to strengthen the country’s institutions and advised against illegal emigration. He suggested that setting up factories in Pakistan would reduce the need for Pakistanis to seek opportunities abroad. He also noted that the Mayor of New York assured that Pakistanis would be prioritized in the paramedical field.
Moreover, Chaudhry Salik stated that around 2,000 IT-skilled individuals would be sent to Japan. Training will be provided to Pakistanis going abroad, as they represent the country as ambassadors.
