KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that hot and humid weather will persist in the port city over the next three days.
The temperature is anticipated to reach 39°C today (Sunday), worsening the already sweltering conditions in Karachi, according to the Met Office.
Although there’s a possibility of thunderstorms in parts of Sindh, such as Tharparkar, Badin, and Umerkot districts, Karachi is not expected to receive rain today.
Most areas of Sindh will experience continued hot and humid weather, with thunderstorms and rain likely in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Matiari, Dadu, and Kashmore districts over the next 48 hours, as per the PMD.
