What startling revelations did the arrested TTP commander Nasrullah make?

Pakistan on Wednesday announced the arrest of two high-ranking commanders of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), including Nasrullah alias Maulvi Mansoor, who has made shocking revelations about TTP activities against Pakistan.

Nasrullah, who served as the head of the TTP Defense Council, confessed to his involvement in numerous attacks on Pakistani security forces and disclosed critical information about the TTP’s operational structure and affiliations. He revealed that he had been associated with the TTP for 16 years in various important positions.

He further revealed that he had been supplying arms and explosives to the TTP. According to Nasrullah’s statements, the TTP had collaborated extensively with the BLA Majeed Brigade under the influence of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), which wanted to establish a joint center for both groups in Afghanistan’s Khuzdar. Their shared agenda included destabilizing Pakistan, targeting the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and fostering unrest through abductions for ransom, he disclosed.

“Afghanistan and India are directly involved with the TTP from behind the scenes, and all TTP commanders reside in Afghanistan. BLA Commander Bashir Zeb is also in Afghanistan,” he added.

The arrested commander also claimed that before joining the TTP, he had participated in subversive activities from the platform of Baitullah Mehsud and had escaped to Afghanistan during Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

In his statement, he also revealed that he had attacked posts of the Pakistan Army in South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, and along the Pak-Afghan border. At the time of his arrest, he was working as the head of the TTP Defense Commission and was responsible for controlling administrative and financial affairs centrally.

“The purpose of India’s RAW was to create terrorist hideouts in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan,” he added. “One of the aims of the BLA-TTP alliance is to create a narrative of missing persons by kidnapping for ransom.”

Nasrullah revealed that TTP leaders, including Noor Wali Mehsud, and BLA’s Bashir Zeb operate freely from Afghanistan, receiving support from elements within the interim Afghan government. He highlighted the exploitation of Afghan territory by anti-Pakistani terrorists, facilitated by the protection provided in Afghanistan.

Noor Wali also meets with Indian embassy and RAW officials, as well as Bashir Zeb of the BLA at the Indian embassy in Kabul, he disclosed. The arrested commander also revealed that some BLA members did not want anyone else to participate in the looting of Balochistan, adding that he was convinced their arrest was facilitated by the BLA.
