Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal officially confirmed their relationship by getting married in an intimate ceremony on Sunday. They shared their wedding photos on social media but disabled comments on Instagram to avoid trolling, as reported by Hindustan Times on Monday.
The report mentioned that before their marriage, there were rumors of familial discord due to cultural differences, with some speculating that actor and Parliamentarian Shatrughan Sinha might not attend his daughter Sonakshi’s wedding.
On Sunday, the couple shared pictures from their wedding, expressing gratitude for the blessings from “both our families and both our Gods”. Just hours after posting their civil wedding ceremony photos, it was noted that Sonakshi and Zaheer had turned off the comments on the announcement post, possibly to shield their happy news from hate and trolling. Despite this, negative comments have appeared on other posts.
In their caption, Sonakshi and Zaheer wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it.
