The Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has announced that a high-level delegation from Google will soon visit Pakistan to explore potential collaborations in education and technology.
According to the Ministry of Education, the Google team’s visit aims to enhance educational outcomes and increase access to quality education, particularly for out-of-school children.
This visit is in response to a request from the Ministry of Federal Education, seeking Google’s support in establishing a digitally enabled education system in Pakistan.
“Advance teams from Google have already conducted preliminary assessments and are enthusiastic about the collaboration opportunities,” the Ministry stated.
Additionally, the Ministry mentioned that a national workshop with various stakeholders was organized to explore technological solutions for out-of-school children. Discussions were also held regarding potential cooperation in education and technology.
“We are delighted to welcome the Google team to Pakistan and explore ways to leverage technology to improve educational outcomes. This collaboration holds the potential to transform the educational landscape in Pakistan and expand access to quality education for everyone,” said the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training.
