Vivek stated that the outpouring of love from the city makes one question the existence of hate. “When you come to Dubai, you realise, no matter how strongly Indian you are, you come here and you see the way the Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Nepalis, and Sri Lankans love you, you start to lose the sense of boundaries,” he maintained.
Vivek, who now resides in Dubai, acknowledged that the city serves as a neutral ground. According to him, Indians and Pakistanis in Dubai can come together without prejudice. Vivek admitted that while some individuals may harbour negative sentiments, the general sentiment is one of affection. “The way they love our food, our culture, our films, the way they love us, where is the hate that everybody is talking about?”
On the work front, Vivek Oberoi was last seen in the Prime Video series Indian Police Force. The show, directed by Rohit Shetty, also featured Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty in important roles.
