Last night, ‘Queen of Tears’ marked a new record by breaking the all-time viewership record during its final broadcast.
The drama follows Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) who lives in the house of his rich and powerful in-laws. His wife, Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won), is the CEO of the company Queens.
After three years of marriage and verbal abuse, he decides to divorce his wife and on the same day, he discovers that she has been diagnosed with a rare kind of brain cancer and has only three months left to live.
Hyun-Woo, following his friend’s advice, decides not to tell her about his plans for divorce and instead stays with her because he will be free soon.
Against all probabilities, during the three months, the two begin to fall in love and piece together their broken marriage.
