As per details, a female student from a private university in the E-11 Sector of the federal capital was reportedly gang-raped and filmed by her classmates. The appalling crime came to light within the jurisdiction of the Shalimar Police Station in Islamabad.
The affected student has filed a complaint, leading the police to register a case and initiate raids to apprehend the accused individuals involved in the incident.
The assault occurred on January 30 when the victim went to E-11/2 for dinner with one of her classmates and his friend. During the dinner, she became a victim of sexual abuse.
According to the victim’s statement to the police, Zaheer, one of her classmates, along with his friend Daniyal, subjected her to sexual assault and even recorded the harrowing incident. The victim further revealed that the perpetrators, Zaheer and Daniyal, issued threats, warning her that they would release the video on the internet if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
This shocking incident marks the second gang rape reported in Islamabad’s E-11, sending shockwaves throughout the federal capital. The police are actively investigating the case to bring the perpetrators to justice and address the alarming rise in such heinous crimes.
