Internet sensation Poonam Pandey has passed away after battling cervical cancer. Her manager informed fans and followers about Poonam’s tragic demise through a social media post.
Many, including actresses Kangana Ranaut and Pooja Bhatt, as well as comedian Munawar Faruqui, offered condolences through social media. Kangana shared a post on her Instagram handle, along with a note that read, ‘This is so sad; losing a young woman to cancer is a catastrophe.’
Munawar Faruqui, winner of ‘Bigg Boss 17,’ also shared a post on his social media handle, writing, ‘Shocking! Can’t process the news; Poonam was a great human being.’ Karanvir Bohra, actor of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay,’ who collaborated with Poonam Pandey in a music video titled ‘Tere Jism Se,’ expressed his disbelief on his social media handle, saying, ‘I pray this is not true.’
Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt’s social media post read, ‘So tragic to hear about Poonam Pandey. I had never met her, but when life claims someone so young, it is always devastating. My prayers and deepest condolences to her family, friends, and everyone whose life she impacted.’
