As we know, the Oscars’ final list of nominations will be announced today. Many things are being circulated on social media and many of us are predicting the final list.
The 96th Academy Awards will be held in March, starting at 4.30 AM IST. Before the list comes out, here are a few points you should know:

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the shortlists in 10 categories for the upcoming 96th Oscars ceremony.
When are the Oscars 2024 nominations?
The nominations will be revealed live today at 8:30 am (ET) in the US from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles. In Pakistan, the live announcement will start around 7.30 pm.
Who will announce Oscars 2024 nominations?
This year, actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid will reveal the nominees in each of the 23 categories. Last year, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams were given the announcement duties.
When will the 2024 Oscars ceremony take place?
The 96th Academy Awards will be held on March 10, Sunday. Hosted once again by US television host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, the awards will take place from 7 pm onwards in the US (around 6 am in Pakistan on Monday).
Oscars 2024 nominations and movie expectations
Oppenheimer, Barbie, Poor Things, The Holdovers, and Killers of the Flower Moon are expected to feature in the Oscars nominations.
