SIALKOT: PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan and Iran should jointly deal with separatist terrorists. Efforts should be made to avoid tension in bilateral relations.
According to the details, the former defense minister said during the conversation with the media that the relations with Iran should not deteriorate further, so tension should be avoided.
During the conversation, Khawaja Asif said, “During our time we had very good relations with Iran, both countries must try to avoid tension so that no more problems can arise in bilateral relations.”
The former defense minister said that Pakistan and Iran have to form a joint strategy to deal with terrorism, Baloch separatist movements are going on in both countries, and these countries have to deal with these movements jointly.
It should be remembered that earlier, Pakistan targeted terrorist shelters in Iran’s Sistan province, which was named Operation Deadly Sarmchar. The Foreign Office says that many terrorists were killed as a result of the operation.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Pakistan targeted specific hideouts of terrorists in Sistan in the morning. Several terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based Pakistani operation in Sistan. Iran did not respond to our serious concerns.
