Extreme cold weather that has gripped the country continued to break all previous records on Friday.
Lahore saw temperature falling as low as 4 degrees Celsius on Friday, making it the coldest day of the season.
Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 100 per cent.
With temperatures dropping by 10 C below freezing, Skardu and Leh continue to be the nation’s coldest locations.

In the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh, dense fog or haze was prevalent.
Strong fog or smog caused the National Highway and other inter- and intra-city highways to close, and it also caused traffic disruptions on motorways.
