The gold market in Pakistan on Saturday witnessed an increase of Rs1,000, with 24-karat gold rising again to Rs218,000 per tola.
According to gold dealers, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also appreciated by Rs857 and sold at Rs186,900.
These fluctuations are closely tied to changes in the value of the US Dollar, highlighting the intricate relationship between currency values and gold prices.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold was available for Rs171,325.
On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,660 as well as that of 10 grams of 24-karat silver at Rs2,280.52.
On the global stage also, the gold price appreciated by $7 to settle at $2,065 per ounce.
It’s noteworthy that gold rates in Pakistan can undergo significant variations throughout the day, influenced by trends in the global market.
