With a new year ahead, Bollywood is all set for a bigger release in 2024 with sequels and remakes of popular movies.
From Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ to Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’, let’s have a look at the movies that are releasing this year:
1) Metro In Dino
Metro In Dino is an extended version of Anurag Basu’s ‘Life In a Metro’. An anthology film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is set to be released in theatres on March 29, 2024.
2) Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. The film is set to bring back the action and thrill to the new film. BMCM will be released on April 10, 2024.
3) Pushpa 2
The Allu Arjun-starrer was a huge hit in 2021. As soon as a sequel to the film was announced, the excitement around it was unprecedented. The Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer will be released this year on August 15, 2024.
4) Stree 2
Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao’s horror comedy when first released in 2018. The success of the film led to the creation of a horror-comedy franchise with films like ‘Roohi,’ and ‘Bhediya’ joining the universe. ‘Stree 2’ will release on August 30, 2024.
5) Singham Again
The third part of the Singham franchise will feature Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release in 2024.
