Meera has lodged a formal complaint with Lahore police, alleging a high-value theft at her residence.
The incident, which transpired yesterday, prompted the Baaji actress to file an application with the Defense police, detailing the disappearance of jewelry and a watch worth millions.
Meera, whose real name is Irtaza Rabab, asserted that the theft occurred while she was away from her home. The 46-year-old celebrity accused one of her domestic workers of pilfering her personal belongings, including two diamond sets, a wristwatch, and other valuable jewelry.
Providing an account of the incident, Meera informed the Defense police that she returned home late at midnight after a shopping excursion, only to discover the absence of her prized possessions. The actor identified one of her employees, Qasim, as a suspect, stating that he was nowhere to be found, and attempts to reach him on his mobile phone proved futile.
Meera disclosed that the stolen jewelry and watches amounted to a staggering Rs10 million. She called upon the police to apprehend the nominated suspect and recover the pilfered items. In response to the complaint, law enforcement authorities initiated raids in an effort to locate the suspect, who remains at large.
