WASHINGTON: Former US President Donald Trump has been formally arrested in the case of interference in the 2020 presidential election.
According to foreign media, Trump presented himself in the Fulton County Jail in the election interference case, where for the first time in American history, a photo of a former president with prisoners was made, which was later released.
American media Fulton County Sheriff said that the former president’s fingerprints were taken again in jail. Trump appeared a day before his surrender deadline, returning to Conway after posting $200,000 bail.
