Three students out of six school students who were trapped in the chairlift in Battagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been declared successful in their 9th class results.
According to 9th class results announced by the Peshawar educational boards on Tuesday evening, Osama, Niaz Muhammad, and Atta Ullah who were among the trapped persons in a chair lift hanging 274 meters (900 feet) above a ravine in Battagram have been declared passed.
Osama secured 391 marks, Niaz Muhammad got 412 marks and Atta Ullah achieved 442 marks.
An operation to rescue them is underway while military commandoes have succeeded in rescuing two students till filing this report.
Six children and two teachers were trapped in a chair lift hanging 900 feet above a ravine in the Sawat area after a cable snapped.
The children, who have been stranded since 7 a.m. local time, were using the chair lift to get to school in a mountainous area in Battagram, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) north of Islamabad.
