A video of showing a young man misbehaving with a traffic cop in Karachi has gone viral on social media. According to the police, the individual in question is said to be an officer of the security agency.
In the video circulating on various social media platforms, it can be seen that traffic police officers in the Saddar area of Karachi stopping a car with a fancy number plate, and the two persons in the car start threatening the traffic police personnel. One person is heard saying to the traffic police officers, “Stop the car and show it, call the military police, the military police will remove the number plate.”

The traffic police authorities have clarified the incident, stating that the person who behaved rudely with the traffic police officer is an officer from a sensitive department.
The traffic police provided details of the incident, explaining that the officer had a fancy number plate on his car, which he was asked to remove. In response, this officer behaved rudely with the traffic police personnel. The police also mentioned that they have sent a letter to the relevant department regarding the individual’s misconduct.
Traffic authorities have refuted reports suggesting any action was taken against the concerned traffic police officer. They clarified that the officer followed the law by removing the fancy number plate from the car and also issued a fine to the officer.
