KARACHI: In a shocking incident, the bodies of two newly-born babies were recovered from a local hospital in North Nazimabad area.
The incident took place when the bodies of two premature babies were recovered from the garbage bin of the hospital’s washroom.
A case of the incident was registered by Hyderi police station on the complaint of the hospital administration. Police claimed a woman allegedly escaped after leaving the bodies of two premature babies in the garbage bin of the hospital.
Police said initial information revealed that two burqa-clad women reached the hospital and one of them underwent an ultrasound. The case cited a laboratory report mentioning that she was expecting twins.
Police added the hospital administration said the woman came for a medical examination. Police are looking for the woman who left the bodies in the trash bin. The statement of the concerned doctor will be taken.
