Kia has recently made an official announcement through their social media platform, stating that they will be closing down four of their dealerships across Pakistan.
The decision was taken by Lucky Motor Company (LMC), the entity responsible for Kia Operations in Pakistan. However, the specific reasons for this decision were not mentioned in the press release.
As per the press release, the affected dealerships have ceased their operations immediately. It’s worth noting that this move follows the closure of another significant Kia facility, the Kia Motors Shahra-e-Faisal showroom in Karachi. The closure of this showroom was due to the expiration of the lease agreement with the premises owner, and the lease could not be renewed.

As a result of these developments, Kia’s presence in Pakistan has been reduced to 16 cities and approximately 30 dealerships. Nonetheless, the automaker is still maintaining its operations in major cities, providing services for sales, maintenance, and spare part support.
While the company has not provided further details in the press release, it is expected that official statements from the authorities will shed light on the reasons behind the closure of these dealerships in the near future.
