Pakistani blogger and freelancer Tanveer Nandla claims he is facing political victimization and attacks on his family.
Tanveer Nandla took to social media to seek justice for the atrocities against him. He has blamed a local politician for occupying his ancestral lands in Multan and launching bogus cases against him and his family.
He also claimed that a local influential made an assassination attempt on his brother and brutally tortured him. He even shared a video showing a group of men violently trashing a young person in a field.
He said the men entered their property and opened fire with modern weapons and then hit his brother in the head.
He said fake and bogus FIR has been registered against his brother in the past year. He even claimed there was an attack on him last year which he survived.
Nandla said he has been going to and forth to various institutions in Lahore, Islamabad, and Multan for the last year.
He blamed a local MPA for illegal acts and political revenge against him. He vowed to release more videos to expose the politician and his men.
He said that false FIRs were filed against his brother and supporters. Nandla said he is tired of fighting legal battles and will now break silence.
Soon afterward, there was an outpouring of support for him and #JusticeForTanveerNandla became the top trend on social media site Twitter.
Nandla said his elder brother is currently fighting for life and death in Nishtar Hospital, Multan. He had demanded justice for himself and his family.
Nandla is one of the Best bloggers and was declared “Pride of Pakistan” by the government on 23 March.
