‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ which released this weekend on July 14 has already become a global blockbuster, with $235 million in collections worldwide in its first week.
This installment was divided into two parts i.e. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Dead Reckoning Part Two. Here is everything you need to know about the part two:
What happened in part one?
Ethan Hunt and the IMF team must track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity if it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than the mission — not even the lives of those he cares about most.

How does it end?
At the end of the movie, we see Ethan Hunt parachuting his way out of The Orient Express down to a meadow where Simon Pegg’s Benji Dunn awaits his arrival. Mission Impossible 7 ends on a cliff-hanger as Hunt and Benji drive away from the scene as a submerged submarine housing a god casts a long shadow.
What happens in part two?
The upcoming Mission: Impossible film will likely follow Ethan Hunt’s search for the sunken Russian submarine Sevastopol, which originally housed the Entity. Given that no one knows exactly where the submarine capsized, Dead Reckoning Part Two will most likely include a globetrotting hunt for the vessel and a final battle between the IMF and the Entity for the fate of the world.
Dead Reckoning Part One: Cast
Dead Reckoning features some of the best Mission: Impossible characters yet, many of whom are confirmed to return in the follow-up film.
Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, and Vanessa Kirby are all confirmed to appear in the upcoming 2024 film.
When is it releasing?
Currently, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two is slated to be released on June 28th, 2024. Given that the Mission: Impossible franchise gets better with each sequel, the eighth installment is already one of the highest-anticipated films of next year.
