KARACHI: The Sindh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has decided to evacuate citizens from the coastal areas of the province in view of the threat of the Biparjoy cyclone.
According to the details, the Biparjoy cyclone has more intense. The Pakistan Meteorological Department I this regard said that a heavy storm is expected to hit Pakistan by June 14, which may cause havoc in the coastal areas.
The PMD said that the storm has intensified due to which there is a possibility of sea waves up to 12 feet hitting the coast of Pakistan. Rain and wind were forecast in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Allahyar, and Mirpur Khas.

As of yesterday, the cyclone has entered Category 3 and today it has entered Category 2. A state of emergency has been imposed in the hospitals of Thatta and Badin in view of the cyclone in the Arabian Sea. Holidays for government employees have been cancelled.
Currently, the cyclone is approximately 690 km from Karachi and 670 km from Thatta. The wind speed in the center of the storm is estimated to be 140 to 160 km per hour, which can reach up to 200 km per hour.
