DADU: At least 25 passengers were injured in a tragic incident when a passenger coach overturned while trying to overtake a tractor trolley near Mehar.
The incident took place at Kolachi Mori in Mehar area, where a passenger coach traveling from Larkana to Karachi overturned while crossing a tractor-trolley loaded with fodder, according to police sources.
The injured were immediately shifted to Khairpurnathan Shah and Mehar Hospitals by local residents, motorway police, and health department teams. The authorities have declared an emergency in Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah hospitals.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the driver of the passenger coach was speeding, which led to the unfortunate incident. The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
