Tom Cruise keeps making action movies despite being 60 years old. The actor has continued to inject more and more excitement into his films ever since the first “Mission Impossible” movie aired more than three decades ago.
His latest adventure was the shooting of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, which is the sequel to the original Top Gun film that was released in the 1980s.
In this film, Cruise returns as a pilot after becoming the instructor of the next airborne elite.
However, he couldn’t fly the F-18 fighter jet despite the film producers wanted to proceed with a scene that showed Cruise flying an F18 jet.
The film crew was denied permission by the US Navy in their bid to have the famous actor fly the fighter.
An F18 costs about 70 million dollars, almost half of the budget spent for the production of Cruise’s new film.
