The year 2022 was a disappointing year for Hollywood as the industry despite releasing movies featuring stellar star casts and anticipated mega movies failed to create magic at the Box Office.
However, it’s a new year and Bollywood is back again with new movies released this year.
From Pathaan to Mission Majnu, here is the list of the movies which are going to release in the new year’s first month:
1) Mission Majnu (January 20)
Mission Majnu is an upcoming fictional spy thriller film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
The film is a fictional story of India’s covert operation, taking place before and during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film is scheduled to be released on 20 January 2023 on Netflix.
2) Pathaan (January 25)
The highly anticipated project Pathaan is set to release after next week. The mega-budget venture features Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role, Deepika Padukone as the female lead, and John Abraham as the lead antagonist.
3) Tehran (January 26)
Tehran is an action thriller movie starring John Abraham and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar. The movie is going to release on republic day which is on the date of 26 January 2023.
4) Gandhi Godse: Ek Yudh (January 26)
The film will depict the extremely opposite ideologies of two-person that is Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse, who belong to different groups at that time. It will be released in cinemas On 26th January 2023.
5) Who Am I (January 27)
Who Am I stars Chetan Sharma, Rishika Chadani, and Surendra Rajan. Bhavitavya, a philosophy student, is full of questions about life.
When his favourite professor passes away, Bhavitavya embarks on a journey of self-discovery, wondering who he is and what his life means.
