Conor McGregor gave fans a sneak peek of his upcoming Hollywood debut.
The Irishman was chosen to work on the upcoming remake of the 1989 classic Road House alongside actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
And now the Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal and the Dublin UFC fighter have released some images of them in the movie.
McGregor used social media as his performance got people excited.
Although there is no official release date for the Doug Liman-helmed film, production got underway on August 23.
McGregor – whose character and general role in the flick is unspecified – offered social media followers a glimpse into the process.
He simply tweeted: “The Mac. The Movies.”
One image from the action movie shows McGregor and Gyllenhaal in the water.
The Dubliner has provided sneak peeks of his film debut, but now the UFC star appears to have tweeted photos of actual movie sequences.
The Notorious, meanwhile, hasn’t competed since losing to Dustin Poirier in the trilogy fight and breaking his leg severely.
Due to his lack of competitive action after UFC 264 in July 2021, McGregor, a native of Crumlin, will drop out of the UFC rankings after 2022.
Due to his size and the fact that he hasn’t defeated a lightweight since defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in 2016, he’s quite likely to make a comeback at 170 pounds.
