KARACHI: Sindh Rangers have issued figures related to their crime operations conducted across the province during the year 2022.
As per data shared with media, a total of 4,213 suspects were arrested during some 2,292 operations this year while a total of 181 operations against were conducted against terrorists in which 60 terrorists were arrested and 11 modern weapons were recovered.
The Sindh Rangers said 6 target killers were arrested in some 10 operations, while a total of 48 operations were conducted against extortion in which 65 extortionists were arrested and 64 weapons were recovered.
Similarly, 506 operations were conducted to bust robber’s network during which 725 robbers were arrested and 406 weapons were recovered. Apart from this, During 659 raids against drug dealers in which 738 suspects were arrested and 216 small arms were recovered.
During the year 2022, 2 personnel of Sindh Rangers embraced martyrdom and 5 of their personnel were injured.
