Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has announced a reward of 25 lakh rupees for the brave young man Ibtisam Hussan who foiled assassination attack on Iman Khan during PTI long march on Thursday in Wazirabad.
Meeting of the provincial cabinet was held on Friday with the CM Elahi on chair. In the meeting, the Punjab cabinet strongly condemned the firing incident on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders.
The cabinet also prayed for the speedy recovery of Imran Khan and other leaders, and prayed for the elevation of ranks of of martyred Moazzam Gondal, who was shot dead in the incident.
On this occasion, the CM announced a financial aid of Rs 50 lakh for the family of martyred Moazzam Gondal while announced a special reward of Rs 25 lakh for activist Ibtisam who bravely caught the attacker and foiled the attack on Imran Khan.
