Netflix has just announced a new Indian movie ‘Monica, O My Darling’ which will release soon this month on the online streaming platform.
Directed by Vasan Bala, ‘Monica, O My Darling’ is a crime comedy film.
Plot
Monica, O My Darling is a story of a man who tries to win big with some dangerous allies and hatches a plan to pull off a murder. The plot is a rollercoaster of dark secrets with betrayal, blackmail, lust, blood, and mystery.
Cast
The film has a promising star cast as it features Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. Along with him, the film stars Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte in the female lead roles.
Along with the lead star cast, the crime comedy-drama film also features Radhika Madan, Sikandar Kher, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Bhagavathi Perumal.

The trailer shows Rajkummar Rao’s character Jayant telling Nikki (Akansha Rajan Kapoor) that he belongs to a small town named Angola.
As the teaser progresses, it shows Humar Qureshi in a powerful but mysterious role. She can also be seen destroying a tiger statue with a sharp knife in one of the scenes. Further it gives us a glimpse of Radhika Apte giving tips to Jayant on how to narrate a good story.

For a brief moment Sikandar Kher also appeared in the teaser, where he reminds the lead character he is still just a prince of Angola. Although one couldn’t guess what the film has to offer, we can say it would be fun to watch due to the presence of both thriller and comedy.
