As we know how miserably Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha failed at the box office flat at the box office and now experts have revealed the reason of its failure.
Laal Singh Chaddha stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor playing the titular role. The scale of the film, it’s ₹180 crore budget and Aamir’s stardom meant much was expected of the film. However, it failed to deliver as Laal Singh Chaddha has so far failed to cross ₹100 crore since its released.

The movie’s failure has largely been attributed to two causes–the content that the audience did not like, and a strong movement calling for the film’s boycott. Experts try and make sense of what actually sank Laal Singh Chaddha.
The experts believe that it was the film’s quality that was its undoing and not the boycott movement. An exhibitor from Delhi said that he does not believe it was the boycott trend that had this much impact. “Padmaavat also faced boycott calls and even saw protests but it still earned over ₹100 crore in its first weekend. With Laal Singh Chaddha, the audience just rejected the film.’

According to the expert, the filmmakers need to take into consideration the audience’s will here. Trade analysts are predicting a lifetime haul of Rs 75 crore, and according to a news portal, on a return-on-investment alone, LSC will be Aamir’s worst flop since Mela.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, which featured Tom Hanks. Beside Khan and Kapoor, the Hindi adaptation features Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in crucial roles.
Even before its release, Laal Singh Chaddha made headlines due to multiple controversies as many social media users called for a boycott of the film over statements made by Aamir and Kareena in the past.
