The supernatural suspense series ‘The Girl in the Mirror’ which released on Netflix last week ended on a unique note.
Since the Spanish series which is also known as ‘Alma’ has ended on a confusing note that weather Martin will be summoned by ‘The Shadow’ or not, many viewers have been thinking about the series being renewed.
Plot
Netflix’s horror thriller follows a group of high schoolers enjoying a getaway in the mountains. The series centers on Alma, who survives a bus crash that kills most of her classmates. When she awakens however, she does so with no memories of the incident or of her past. Her parents seem like strangers and her home is filled with secrets and mystery. Alma begins to suspect everyone around her is lying.
Trapped in a world that feels mysterious to her, Alma sets out to unravel events leading to the accident. But the truth could well be more horrifying than she ever imagined, leading to some very dramatic and shocking reveals.

Netflix ordered the series in late 2018. Created by Sergio G. Sánchez, the screenplay was written by Sánchez alongside Teresa de Rosendo and Paul Pen, with Sánchez and Kike Maíllo directing.Produced by Sospecha Films for Netflix, shooting started in September 2020, taking place in different locations in Asturias, including Llanes, as well as in Manresa, Catalonia.

Season 2
There has currently been no renewal announcement regarding the release of The Girl in the Mirror ‘Alma’ Season 2 on Netflix.
The online streaming platform will undoubtedly respond in a few weeks after assessing the show’s viewing hours and reviews.
In the event of a renewal, Season 2 of The Girl in the Mirror “Alma” should be available on Netflix by the end of 2023.
